Intellicon markets and distributes Advance Transformer Co.'s PureVOLTTM microprocessor controlled UV ballasts and high-quality magnetic and electronic germicidal, UV/UV-C ballasts.
The PureVOLTTM is the latest in microprocessor controlled ballasts that are specifically designed to operate a variety of germicidal UV lamps. Models are rated from 18 to 145 watts, 1 or 2 lamps, and have autoranging AC input. Click the model name to link to the full datasheet.
Advanced Electronic Ballasts are specifically designed for germicidal UV lamp operations. Ballast types include twin tube, linear and single ended linear from 16 to 75 watts, 1 and 2 lamps. Click the model name to link to the full datasheet.
Advanced Magnetic Ballasts offer support for a wide range of germicidal UV lamps including 1 and 2 lamps, single and bi-pins, rated from 6 to 115 watts. Click the model name to link to the full datasheet.
In addition, Intellicon's has its own unique
Distributed Architecture Ballasts that let us tailor the products
to meet the specialized needs of niche
markets and custom requirements where mass-market ballasts won't work.
The advantages of the Distributed Architecture Ballasts (DAB)
include:
- Ballasts are small (approximately the footprint of a business
card) and light in weight so it can be located in close proximity
to the lamp.
- Non-standard voltage inputs, especially low voltage AC and DC
- Longer life design. Since bulk voltage electrolytic capacitors
(usually located physically close to the hot lamp area) have the
shortest life of any components on the ballast, our DABs use no
electrolytic capacitors in the inverter section of the ballasts.
- Our Ballasts can be externally " tuned " for optimum lamp current
and start voltage.
- The modular design means the ballasts can be combined with a
wide variety of off the shelf and custom power supplies.
- Ballasts allow for simple data acquisition, lamp monitoring
and fault detection.
- Distributed architecture allows for control of:
- Lamp current
- Lamp power
- UV output
- Emissions
- Line Regulation
